Nerdbrewing

Nerdbrewing was founded as a commercial volatile brewery in 2015 by Hannes Gruber and Karin Carlsson. Hannes has been a successful home brewer for many years and has won a number of medals at various competitions, such as the Swedish Home Brewing Championships. Karin has since left the company and Hannes has continued to work closely with Lilla Ölfabriken and Chad Beer, with the three sharing a brewery on Norbergsgatan in Malmö to increase production and reach a wider audience.

The name of the brewery itself and the names of the beers come from Hannes’ experience in computer science and software development. Because sharing means caring, Nerdbrewing has taken open source from the world of software to the world of brewing, and the recipes are free for any home brewer to try!
