The character that Franz Ferdinand d'Este gave to this brewery in 1897 has been preserved to this day. The same applies to the way of brewing, which has not changed in the last 100 years. This is a classic technology of open bottom fermentation and additional fermentation in lagering cellars, which is used in the Czech lands and only in some Czech breweries. This makes it unique. We never use modern brewing methods, especially cylindrical-conical tanks, and the beer is not adulterated to the desired alcohol content using the HGB system. Thanks to this procedure, the brewery differs from other producers of "Euro beer".
