The Koníček microbrewery was founded in 2006 by the brewer Mojmír Velký, who, after graduating from the brewing school and later malting in the nearby brewery in Nošovice, went his own way and started brewing beer in his small, independent microbrewery. Exactly on June 2, 2006 in a small 250-liter brewery the first batch of beer, light lager from the Ryzák 11% barrel, was solemnly brewed. In July of that year, beer began to flow in the Mother’s Inn and Pension U Koníčka. In August, the first batch of Vraník was brewed, on Christmas Day of the same year our last regular – the semi-dark specialty Grošák 14%. Since Christmas 2006 Brewers enjoy only local beer, which has replaced traditional beers from the Nošovice brewery.

In July of the following year, beer began to flow in the inn and boarding house Matka U Koníčka. In August, the first batch of Vraník was cooked, on Christmas of the same year our last regulars saw the semi-dark specialty Grošák 14%. Since Christmas 2006, brewers drink only local beer, which replaced the traditional beers from the Nošovice brewery.
