Birth of a legend Grodziskie beer is one of the oldest beers in Europe. Its name comes from the town of Grodzisk Wielkopolski, where it was born. This is the only Polish style of beer, also called by many brewers "the pride of Polish brewing". Beer brewing in Grodzisk Wielkopolski dates back to the Middle Ages. It is believed to be the beginning of the 14th century, and according to tradition, 1301 is assumed. Initially, this liquor was brewed for their own needs by wealthy citizens who had their own brewery called "braseatorium". A treasure of Polish brewing Grodziskie is the only Polish style of beer - our contribution to the history and development of brewing. Called "champagne among beers", due to its unique taste and high quality. Listed in the guide to the best beers in the world by Michael Jackson - called the "pope of brewing".
