Carlos Serres Reserva DOC Rioja is a high-quality dry red wine from the Rioja region of Spain. It is made from hand-picked grapes of the Tempranillo (90%) and Graciano (10%) varieties, from different plots of the 60-hectare Finca El Estanque vineyard in Haro. The vines are about 30 years old.
Fermentation takes place in concrete vats and then the juice is macerated with the grape skins for about 13 days at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. The wine is aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels, and then aged in the bottle for at least 12 months. These processes give it a well-built structure and exquisite character.
