Artezan Brewery, located in Błonia in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, was founded in 2012 by three enthusiasts: Dariusz Doroszkiewicz, Jacek Materski and Piotr Wypych. It was the first brewery founded from scratch in Poland by hobbyists who transformed the building of the former sausage warehouse into a small brewery. Initially, the brewery operated in Natolin, but at the turn of 2014 and 2015 it was sold to a new owner, and Artezan moved to Błonia, where a modern brewery was built.

Among Artezana’s beers is the Black Volga, a velvety beer of black color, which is a typical oat stout. This beer is characterized by a rich taste and aroma, where coffee and chocolate notes dominate. In addition, there are clear nutty accents and a strong, characteristic for style, bitter aftertaste.

Artezan is a brewery known for the creativity and diversity of its beers, and after moving to a new brewery in Błony, it also started bottle production, supplying its beers to a wider group of beer lovers.

PRODUCENT -  Artezan

The first Polish craft brewery. We started our brewing adventure with brewing in the kitchen. In 2012, we decided that homemade pots were not enough for us. We built the brewhouse in Natolin ourselves, reworking equipment and tanks imported from Germany. Quite quickly it turned out that the Natolin brewery is too small for us. In 2015, we moved to Błonie, occupying one of the halls of the former Mera-Błonie precision mechanics plant, where we still work today. Our beers, such as Pacific, Czarna Wołga and Mera, are classics of Polish craft brewing. We try to brew them regularly, but the magic of the craft world lies in the constant search for new interesting flavors and constant experiments. That is why we produce dozens of premieres a year.
