In the California Banger series of beers, we combine how to brew the perfect, modern, Californian West Coast. With each brew we head with mashing and fermentation temperatures, hopping methods, hop blends and change the water parameters. Our last “Banger” with number 5 is, in our opinion, the closest to ideal. If you had the opportunity to try, let me know, and if not, we recommend it!
California Banger #5 | DDH California IPA | Malts: Pilsen malt, dextrin malt, glucose. Bitter hops: Simcoe. Hops on Whirlpool: Chinook; Centennial; Ekuanot. Cold hops: Centennial; Citra; Simcoe. The hopping is at the level of 25 g/l.
