Komes Frozen Imperial Baltic Porter Old Forester Barrel Aged is a unique beverage with imperial parameters, which has been subjected to a special freezing process. It is characterized by a thick texture and intense flavor with dominant notes of caramelized rye malt.
The 2024 limited edition, consisting of just 6000 bottles, is a tribute to the 135th anniversary of the Fortuna Brewery. After brewing, the beer was placed in fresh Old Forester bourbon barrels for many months, which gives it a unique character.
The result is a beverage with an exceptionally intense flavor that combines liqueur qualities with delicate notes of wood, dried fruit and dark stone fruits. In addition, the beer is enriched with subtle touches of coconut and vanilla, which give it even more depth and complexity of flavor.
An alcoholic strength of 21% vol. and an extract of 48% by weight. testifies to its strong characteristics. It is a bottom-fermented, pasteurized dark beer using high-quality ingredients such as barley malt extract, different varieties of barley malt, hops and yeast that complete its unique taste and aroma.
