The beer itself has a pleasant yellow-orange color, irresistibly reminiscent of apple juice. Graffa foam is abundant, but extremely unstable. The high extract and a significant proportion of apple juice do not allow the foam to please the eye.
The taste of Astus Malum again resembles apples baked in batter. Malt, sponge cake and even gently caramel base is perfectly filled with apple – cider elements. Maybe even the moment when the graph fills the lips can be compared to apple pie, where a thick layer of sour apples is placed on the shortcrust dough, which is gently covered by a gently caramelized meringue. It’s all in this beer – sweetness, sourness, maltiness and fruitiness. Everything full of flavor, oily, but due to the dryness of apples and cider effervescence definitely light, crisp and very drinkable.
