Krakonos Svetly Lezak is brewed by Pivovar Krakonos from the town of Trutnov, which lies in northern Bohemia in the Hradec Králové Region. The brewery was founded in 1582, unfortunately a year later it burned down and the brewing moved to the place where it currently operates. The name of the brewery comes from the legendary Krakonos, the spirit of the mountains that inhabits the Giant Mountains. Krakonos 11 is a light lager, probably pasteurized and filtered.
