STRONGER HOPS
During the brewing of the Ostrava Twelve, our young brewers used new varieties of hops that were bred only 6 to 10 years ago. Their charm lies in the fact that thanks to them Ostravar has more bitterness and really smells wonderful. Traditional Ostravar now contains more barley malt and, thanks to more accurate fermentation in the cellar, also has a higher proportion of extract. This gives the beer a more distinct malty taste.
MORE BALANCED TASTE
By adding hops and malts in the brewery and longer fermentation in the aging cellar, we have achieved a pleasant change. Traditional Ostravar has gained an even more beautiful aroma, a fuller malty taste and greater bitterness. In addition, the beer has a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
