Unicum is a legendary liqueur – the national drink of Hungary.
This unique herbal liqueur, based on a secret family recipe and distilled from more than forty different herbs and spices, was originally created as a digestive aid at the royal court of Hungarian Austria in 1790. At the family-run Zwack distillery in Budapest, Unicum matures in large oak barrels and is then poured into the characteristic round bottles that have been the hallmark of this historic brand for almost two hundred years.
