The magnificent feast was accompanied by a drink called aqua vitae . This is the oldest name of vodka, which comes from the Latin term meaning water of life. By Royal Decree of 1572. The Polish nobility received the exclusive right to distill
and the sale of vodka. At that time, the production was entrusted to local masters of distilling, who perfected their methods and thus the artistry of distillates was born, which spread throughout the Polish kingdom. On private estates belonging to well-known Polish noble families, distillers improved the art of producing spirits and vodkas. Special care and attention was paid
for a private collection of liquors intended for the owner of the property and his guests.
This type of alcohol was produced in very small quantities, it was the natural pride of the distillery, and its recipe became a family secret. Multi-stage distillation,
together with the use of selected sweet grains of grain and refreshing spring water, which is filtered by special methods, allowed to obtain a spirit of unprecedented quality – PRAVDA, the only truth in vodka.
