Chodovar
Beer is a delicious and healthy drink with a low alcohol content. The basic raw materials needed for the production of Chodské pivo® are barley malt, hops and water. Our artesian wells are the source of the softest water used in Czech breweries. We prepare all the malt needed to produce beer in the traditional way in our own humn malthouse. We produce 1,700 tons of malt per year.
The original brewing set dates from 1924. In 2004, it was completely modernized and allows you to cook 4 batches in 24 hours. In one day, the kiln can process 14 tons of barley malt into 800 hl of beautifully fragrant wort.
