Bornem Tripel is a lively monastery beer with an alcohol content of 9%. The beer is brewed according to a long tradition according to which monastic triples are usually blonde or light amber in color. The beer has a nice foam and a pleasant aroma of hop and fruity notes. It’s mild in tone and perfectly balanced between sweetness and bitterness, making it the perfect beer for parties. Beer undergoes a second fermentation in a bottle or barrel, which allows it to constantly evolve and develop. The long aftertaste invites you to enjoy tasting this beer even more. The name “Tripel” comes from the fact that the brewery uses three times more malt than regular beer. In the past, this type of beer was reserved exclusively for the bishop or abbot.
