Striking gold in the third year, the brewers of The Wild Beer Company together create a beer that has been aged for three years in selected oak barrels for a smooth, sour and spicy session.

The Summer Blend 2016 is bright gold with a delicate cream. The nose wakes up with the same curious pang of tart grape, cider and buttery smell that suggests something of oak chardonnay. But to taste, the beers introduced into the beer are devoid of sweetness, and notes of sourdough and light candy enchant the language.

On the middle palate in taste tart, fruity and spicy trends; leaving behind a lot of sweet embrace. Sour green apple, peach, leathery lime and weathered lemons offer a rustic citrus note with white wine and delirious apple. A late charge of acidity pierces the taste buds with grape skins, a sour apple and a slight peppery jute prick.

Clear, clean and very refreshing, the high acidity of the beer slightly relaxes and allows you to maintain a creamy finish far beyond their lofty, malty-sweet balance. Instead, the high nature of fermentation leads to tartness and light moss to decorate the lons and a promising aftertaste.
