Don’t be afraid of the teddy bear! This guy is almost a grizzly, so he’s not as dangerous as you think. Don’t be afraid of bronze! This color appears here mainly in appearance, while in taste and aroma only complements the delicate dose of cookies and toffee citrus-herbal hop sensations.
For many brews, we eagerly reach for styles that enjoyed a short popularity at the beginning of the beer revolution, and later disappeared from the orbit of interest. Brown IPA is one example – perhaps because consumers for some reason are “afraid” of brown in beer.
And here there is nothing to be afraid of! Notes of nuts, cookies or toffee can play beautifully in IPA. Especially with hop revolutionary classics in the form of varieties: Simcoe, Citra, Centennial and CTZ. Be sure to give it a try!
