HUPPENDORFER ZWICKEL

Zwickel brewed by the restaurant brewery Grasser in Huppendorf near Königsfeld (Bamberg) is a real gem. Only the label reads “Zwickel,” and the tie “Zwickelbier.” It is a bright, unfiltered beer with a slight turbidity, because it is taken directly from the tank after the traditional, long aging process.

The beer has a golden-yellow color and creates a finely bubble foam, which at first glance foreshadows what you can feel in the taste. The initial taste is slightly malty, followed by a satisfying, full-bodied and subtle fruity hint of hops that invites you to further beer tasting.

With an alcohol content of 4.9% and an initial extract of 11.6° Plato, our Zwickel is becoming increasingly popular and has been an integral part of our range as a year-round beer since 2006. This is a truly unique beer that will surely appeal to lovers of beer with a characteristic and full taste.
