Weiherer Bio-Zwickerla Dunkel is poured into the glass in a copper-red shade of amber and is complemented by a dense white foam. The beer is unfiltered, so it has an almost natural turbidity. The visual effect emphasizes the divine aroma of delicate caramel, roasted nuts and sweet malt. The flavor notes include a hint of baked apple and a touch of yeast, which makes you very curious about the first sip. The taste of the beer is rich in malt with a Franconian character. Flavourful notes of freshly baked bread, roasted malt and creamy caramel gently caress the palate. Roasted nuts, dried stone fruit and a hint of nutmeg deftly round off the aromatic range. During the finish, a delicate floral note of hops blends in with a strong malt body.
