Weiherer Keller-Pils is definitely one of the unusual beers. It’s a naturally cloudy beer that’s part of the organic brewery’s offerings, as it’s brewed exclusively with hops and malt from controlled organic farming. In addition, the Keller-Pils bears the title “Solarbier”, which guarantees that the beer is produced with electricity obtained from the brewery’s own solar cells, coming from under the Franc sun. With its balanced character and subtle balance between hops and malt, Keller-Pils is also a unique example in the beer style category.

Weiherer Keller-Pils is poured into the glass in a slightly cloudy golden color. The beer is topped with an impressive amount of snow-white and thick foam and gives off a seductive aroma of spicy herbs, delicate citrus peel, grainy malt and freshly cut grass. The first sip reveals a slim body with a lively invigorating and a rich palette of flavors. Unusually, the beer is accented with malts, and the soft aromas of freshly baked bread and bread grains gently caress the palate before the hops are marked with their clear mark. Notes of grass, spicy herbs, resin and sour citrus fruits perfectly complement the play of aromas.
