Imperial stout brewed with apple and Ceylon cinnamon, aged in apple brandy and XO Cognac barrels.
Taste: Sweet jam and dark sugar run down the tongue, combining with freshly chopped juicy apples. Winter spices, dessert wine and calvados join in, and caramelized malt completes the palate before a bit of speculoos biscuits splash on the aftertaste.
Appearance: Black as pitch with dark brown foam.
Nose: A rich filling of baked apples and dough tarts pops out of the glass, then joins a strong aroma of dried red fruit. A delicate spice and even more winter apple appears in the nose before you are drawn in by a hint of oak.
