Bottega Limoncino is a traditional Italian liqueur of the “limoncello” type, which has its roots at the end of the 19th century. It is characterized by the production of the “Femminello” variety, popular in Italy, from an infusion of lemon peels. These skins have fine grains and quality rich essential oils.
The production process begins with the harvesting of naturally grown lemons at full maturity, after which they are thoroughly washed and peeled by hand. The peels are then macerated for about 30 days in alcohol, which allows their intense flavor and aroma to be extracted. After this process, the liquid is separated from the cuticles.
The next step is to add sugar and high-quality grappa, which gives the liqueur its unique character and unique taste. Bottega Limoncino is a product with an intense lemon aroma, perfect as an aperitif or an ingredient in many cocktails, reminiscent of the Italian sun and the freshness of the south.
