La Trappe Isid’or 75cl is an unfiltered, slightly sweet, amber beer with notes of nuts and caramel. It is a beer of the second fermentation with a slightly bitter taste and fruity aftertaste. In 2009, when the brewery has been around for 125 years, brother Isodorus Laaber was honored with his own La Trappe Isid’or beer. It was the first brewery of the abbey. This makes this beer unique for the brewery, really a beer of symbolic value. In addition, beer has an alcohol percentage of 7.5%. This unique beer tastes best at a temperature of ten to fourteen degrees Celsius.

La Trappe Quadrupel 75 cl is La Trappe’s heaviest beer. This warm and intense beer is beautifully balanced. In this beer you can find spicy and sweet aromas of cloves, vanilla, nuts and banana. The taste is wonderfully intense with date and caramel notes. The aftertaste is pleasant, soft and slightly bitter. Of course, this beer also ferments in the bottle. According to La Trappe, it was the first Quadrupel brewed. So try this unique beer right now! Pour this 10.0% full beer at a temperature of ten to fourteen degrees Celsius. The larger version is perfect for the evening. Easy to share with friends or enjoy on your own. Give this beautiful bottle to a beer lover and he will surely enjoy it.

PRODUCENT -  La Trappe

She is subtly present at the Abbey of Our Lady of Koningshoeven in Berkel-Enschot, the scent of hops, yeast and malt. Trappist ale has been brewed here since 1884. The monks of the abbey are the origin of this ale. They are popularly called "Trappists", after the origin of their order: the French Soligny-La-Trappe. This order is characterized by austerity, silence and the duty of charity. At the end of the 19th century, a small group of Trappist monks fled from France to Berkel-Enschot. There, in the heart of Brabant, they found a piece of heather with some hooves and a sheepfold. They embraced this former country residence of King Willem II - the Koningshoeven - as their new home. They founded their monastery there and decided to brew ale. To this day they fill their lives here with prayer and work. In peace and quiet.
