With the development of the production process, the master brewer always consulted with proven, old recipes. “Kirtabier” is the only type of beer that can be classified as “March” beer and dark export beer. Brewed on the occasion of one of the most important festival days in Bavaria, the church holiday “Kirchweih”. Intensive mashing of double decoction with a mixture of three malts gives the beer a warm, brown color and a well-balanced, rich, strong, aromatic malt quality. The healthy character of Kirtabier is distinguished by a high degree of fermentation, a pleasant glow and a clearly noticeable bitterness. Kirtabier goes to the bar “premously cloudy”, which means unfiltered with that full basement flavor.
