Rich, amber-golden color. Deep, inviting, malty aroma and bready, wonderful taste, which is an ode to barley. Bitterness medium to high, with a bit of warming alcohol at the finish. Gentle dryness from long ripening.
Bavarians have been celebrating their harvest at beer festivals since the 1400s. Märzen is brewed in March to be ready for September and October beer festivals.
