Lambic beers aged for three years in oak barrels enter a union that has serious consequences. It is a blissful marriage with a gentle and full of flavor. A fit that gets even better with age.

Geuze Mariage Parfait is an unsweetened, unfiltered Oude Geuze from Lembeek. This beer consists mainly of 3-year-old Lambicu, which was aged in oak barrels. This is the most perfect Lambic, which matured in the best barrels of the brewery.

It is no coincidence that the barrels used for Lambic for Geuze Mariage Parfait are also the oldest in the brewery. They were built between 1883 and 1914 and have been used as real Lambic feeds for over 100 years. The microflora of wild yeast in barrels persists for several generations, and their unique evolution guarantees the most delicate and delicate Lambic.

PRODUCENT -  Boon

The Boon Brewery is the life's work of Frank Boon, who is often referred to as the savior of Geuze. He took over geuze blenders that were in danger of disappearing in the late 1970s, determined to revive the local Geuze tradition. Over the years, Boon Brewery has grown with the greatest respect for traditional craftsmanship. Throughout this time, Boon's unique knowledge also grew as he gained more and more knowledge about Lambic brewing and Geuzes blending and the maintenance of feeders or oak barrels. This knowledge has been passed on to the next generation in recent years: the succession is already assured and in good hands with Jos Boon and Karel Boon. Both sons grew up in the shadow of the brewery and inherited Frank's passion for traditional beer styles from the region. Today, the Boon brewery looks confidently into the future. Frank retired in 2021 but still keeps an eye on things. Jos and Karel ensure continuity and further development through the involvement of the family. The brewery still uses valuable techniques from the past, but takes a scientific approach to these practices with an eye to the future.
