Marc Goebel, Jeff Maisel’s classmate at the famous Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, a born craftsman and brewer by vocation, always ready for experiments, interpreted Irish stout beer with his own way.
Beer with a high alcohol content, brewed on the basis of a mixture of noble malts, has a strong but balanced taste and hides different faces. The aromas of roasted malt are combined with caramel sweetness, and notes of dark chocolate harmonize with the delicate aftertaste of dark forest fruits.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C (note: beer cooled in the fridge to 5-6°C is heated by 1-2 degrees during serving)
Glass: as for any noble beer, a goblet with a large and bulging bowl tapering towards the top, which we first fill to the height of the widest point or approx. 1/3 for tasting and developing aromas, and then complete by. Taste. A large red wine goblet can be used.
Suitable for: ribs and venison, burgers and barbeque, desserts and chocolate cakes, hard and soft cheeses.
