Dictador is a rum brand originating from Colombia, which is characterized by high quality and extraordinary craftsmanship in production. The roots of the brand date back to the 70s. When the brand’s director, Hernan Parra, discovered a treasure – an old barrel of rum hidden in the cellar of the family distillery. This discovery was a turning point for the Dictador brand.

Dictador rum is made with the finest ingredients, starting with carefully selected sugar cane from Colombia. The process of distillation and maturation of rum is based on the Colombian distillery tradition, which goes back many generations. Distillation takes place in copper stills, which allows for exceptional purity and characteristic taste.

After distillation, Dictador rum matures in oak barrels, which were previously used to age whisky. This method gives it a unique flavor profile where you can smell notes of vanilla, caramel, cocoa and cinnamon. The aging process lasts for many years, which allows the aromas to fully develop and give rum a unique smoothness.

What distinguishes Dictador from other rums is also the use of Japanese bottling technologies. Thanks to this, the rum is carefully filtered and bottled to maintain the highest quality and purity of the drink.
