Double IPA aged in Chardonnay casks made of French oak in Brett wine. Deep in the tormented aberrations of the monk’s mind lay the concept of the Holy Grail of beer—beer often imagined but never tasted, sought after but never achieved. This Belgian heritage manifests itself in its yeast complexity, softened and rounded in Français’ cooper and created to shine like the stars first seen by its distant predecessor Dom Pérignon. Such a beer is Bitter Monk Belgian Double IPA.
