GERMANY WEIHERER KELLER

Brauerei Kundmüller, located in the city of Weiher, Germany, is known for its unfiltered Kellerbier, or cellar beer. This beer has won many awards, including three medals in the European Beer Star competition: two bronze (in 2009 and 2010) and a gold in 2011. In addition, it was honored with a bronze medal in the same event in the “Consumer Favorite” category in 2011.

The beer has a pale golden color and is slightly cloudy. The foam is white, medium-high when pouring, with a fine structure and dense appearance. It falls quite quickly, leaving a thin layer of foam and a delicate ring on the glass.

The aroma of the beer is quite delicate, with slight notes of malt, yeast and a distinct smell of herbal hops. The taste at the beginning is malty, which is sweet with yeasty and bready notes. This is followed by a medium herbal bitterness, followed by a slight acidity at the finish. The saturation of the beer is medium towards low.
