KOMES PORTER OAK FLAKES – a dark beer of the bottom fermentation, which owes its complex and rich profile to roasted malts and aging with French oak flakes. The aroma and taste of the beer combines chocolate-coffee notes with noble woody accents.
Barley Wine is a beer style with a very rich and intense malt aroma and a complex taste, in which malt sweetness perfectly harmonizes with well-marked, but unobtrusive bitterness. Komes Barley Wine from Fortuna Brewery is the strongest version within the rules of style – beer is characterized by a high content of extract, warming power and dark, amber-copper color.
The beer was brewed with new wave, American hop varieties – added at the end of wort cooking and cold during fermentation, which enriched the aromatic bouquet and flavor profile of Komesa Barley Wine.
KOMES IMPERIAL STOUT is a strong, essential and complex, dark top-fermented beer aged for 6 months. A specialty appreciated by beer drinkers around the world. The definite flammability, characteristic of this style, comes from roasted barley. Accents of coffee, chocolate and prunes are balanced by a distinct bitterness. The addition of rye malt used increases the content and velvetiness of RIS. The beer is intense in taste and smell, m.in. thanks to the addition of aromatic, Ukrainian hop varieties Maple and Slovianka. Despite the considerable strength of the drink, alcohol does not impose itself, but only pleasantly warms up.
KOMES PORTER RASPBERRY is a dark bottom-fermented beer brewed with the addition of fruit juice and aged with vanilla “Bourbon” from Madagascar and Indian chili peppers. In the aroma and taste we will find chocolate notes and the sweetness of raspberry and vanilla broken chili peppers. Thanks to the addition of raspberry juice and aging with exotic additives, beer has gained a new dimension.

Open fermentation - a unique method of brewing beer The Fortuna Brewery in Miłosław is one of the few breweries in Poland where traditional, open fermentation vats are used. Beer in open vats is fermented the way nature intended: without unnecessary acceleration, traditionally, with attention to the taste of beer. Thanks to the free access to oxygen, the yeast has ideal conditions for development, which results in a unique, fresh taste and rich aroma of real beer.
