Grodziskie is the only style in the world of entirely Polish origin. Its mini homeland is Grodzisk Wielkopolski, where it was brewed most probably since the Middle Ages.
It is a very bright, above-average light beer with a characteristic aroma of smoked malt, a slightly acidic profile and a very lively carbonation. Bitterness is low, which only increases its refreshing qualities. It is not without reason that it was once called the champagne of the north.
