Three Buddies Björn Imperial Baltic Porter Rum Barrel Aged is a powerful and dark imperial Baltic porter that has been aged for a long time in Caribbean rum barrels. Together with Floki and Ivar, he creates the triptych “Barrel Aged”, a version of Ragnar, where each beer is aged in different types of barrels, adding unique shades of aroma and taste.

Björn is dedicated to lovers of dark, strong and rich beers with a rich taste, and at the same time has a small bitterness. This beer achieves typical style parameters, with 26°Blg and 12.5% alcohol content. Light and dark barley malts, wheat malt and oatmeal are used for its production. In addition, American hops Cascade gives the beer characteristic aromas.

Three Buddies Björn Imperial Baltic Porter Rum Barrel Aged is aged for 14 months in rum barrels from Jamaica and Barbados. Thanks to this, the beer gains the density and contentfulness typical of imperial porters, and also receives unique notes of woody, rum, cherry and vanilla.

Beer has a dark brown, almost black color, resembling a tarry substance that is not transparent. The aroma is noticeable woody, rum and vanilla notes, which combine with roasted malt, coffee and notes of cherry. The taste is dominated by rum accents, dark chocolate, sweetness, roasted bitterness, coffee notes and warming alcohol.
