The Black IPA style is a bit uphill, because it is very easy to overdo dark, roasted malts, which make the beer quite ashy character, which completely hides what the wonderful American hops give. We wanted our Black IPA to differ from the bright IPA mainly in that… is black. They say that we did quite well…
The hops bring resinous, pine, grapefruit and herbal aromas that are subtly complemented by the chocolate note derived from dark malt. The taste is dry, very bitter, but at the same time citrus and quite tropical. Try it yourself!

Blackcyl, or our daily Black IPA, is a beer rich in pine, citrus and herbal aromas, complemented by a chocolate note derived from dark malt. We have been brewing it continuously since 2015, and over the years it has already had several versions: more intense, i.e. Blackcyl Double and a variation with citrus syndrome – Blackcyl Special Edition. However, we could not refuse to continue working on the intensity of sensations and decided to imperialize Blackcyl even more. This is how Triple Blackcyl was created, a velvety and juicy beer in which we focused less on extracting alcoholic strength from a higher extract, and more on building a powerful – literally dripping with the taste of hops and roasted sunflower – beer body. Expect resinous notes, pine, but also a gently piercing coconut note from Sabro hops.

Our yeast gets perfect conditions for a healthy, turbulent and clean fermentation, and the immaculately clean and devoid of oxygen-killing bottling completes the work. Simple, right?
