Mormon Kid is one of five exceptional beers to be barrel-aged as part of the American Outlaws 2023 collection created by Copenhagen-based Amager Bryghus. This is Bourbon Double Mash Imperial Stout, which has spent a whopping 13 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon casks, reaching an impressive 15.0% vol. Alcohol. Encased in a 0.75-litre bottle, these limited editions are meticulously sealed with coloured wax, ready to brighten up the evening for a true connoisseur.

Visually, Amager The Mormon Kid beer presents itself in a dark brown shade, crowned with creamy foam. The taste is rich in sweet aromas of malt, caramel and vanilla, which harmoniously harmonize with the delicate bourbon note resulting from the long aging in the barrel. What’s more, the high alcohol content has been perfectly blended, creating a robust and complex flavor bouquet that stays in the memory for a long time.

Amager The Mormon Kid is a true masterpiece of brewing craftsmanship, ready to continue to mature and blossom its flavor for years to come.

PRODUCENT -  Amager

Amager Bryghus is a Danish microbrewery located on the island of Amager. It was founded in 2007 by Morten Valentin Lundsbak and Jacob Storm in an old warehouse formerly owned by the Church of Scientology. His first beer to make the Ratebeer Top 50 list was an Imperial Stout called Hr. Frederiksen. This particular beer was created to celebrate a friend of the owners, Peter Frederiksen, who helped them set up the brewery throughout the year. Thanks to the success of Mr. Frederiksen, they established cooperation with Shelton Brothers and began exporting to the United States. Since 2009, they have been on the list of the 100 best Ratebeer breweries.
