Introducing The Apache Kid: Bourbon Barrel Aged Double Mash Imperial Wheat Stout from the prestigious American Outlaws series by Amager Bryghus.

This unusual beer pays tribute to the legendary Apache Kid, an Indian from the White Mountain tribe, born on the San Carlos Reservation. From a young age, he showed exceptional skills and became a trusted member of the U.S. Army Reconnaissance Corps, rising to the rank of sergeant under the tutelage of Al Sieber.

In honor of his indomitable spirit, this Imperial Wheat Stout underwent a careful double maceration process and spent 14 months maturing in Kentucky Straight bourbon barrels from the venerable 1792 distillery. The result is a full-bodied and complex beer, combining the richness of Pilsner, Munich, roasted, chocolate and Cara-Munich 2 malts with the delicacy of wheat malt.

Expect a symphony of flavors, where deep notes of roasted malt and chocolate intertwine with a subtle sweet bourbon aftertaste to create a harmonious balance. With Summit and Cascade hops adding a hint of bitterness, this stout delivers a bold and memorable experience.

Raise your pint in honor of The Apache Kid and indulge in this remarkable bourbon barrel-aged masterpiece, a true testament to the courage and legacy of the American outlaw.

PRODUCENT -  Amager

Amager Bryghus is a Danish microbrewery located on the island of Amager. It was founded in 2007 by Morten Valentin Lundsbak and Jacob Storm in an old warehouse formerly owned by the Church of Scientology. His first beer to make the Ratebeer Top 50 list was an Imperial Stout called Hr. Frederiksen. This particular beer was created to celebrate a friend of the owners, Peter Frederiksen, who helped them set up the brewery throughout the year. Thanks to the success of Mr. Frederiksen, they established cooperation with Shelton Brothers and began exporting to the United States. Since 2009, they have been on the list of the 100 best Ratebeer breweries.
