“St. Bernardus Prior 8 is a dubbel abbey-style beer that pours in a dark brown color with red highlights and foam in shades of beige.

The beer is fermented on the surface and bottled with lees, it has aromas of dried fruit, malt, cherries, caramel and bread. The taste is true to the smell and also contains dark candied sugar, citrus, apricots and bananas, with notes of coffee, yeast and anise. The texture is medium, smooth, with vivid carbonization and warming alcohol with 8.0% content. The finish is long and dry, with hints of fruit and a slight bitterness of hops.

St. Bernardus Abt 12 is an award-winning quadrupel that pours in a cloudy brown color with a generous beige foam and expressive carbonization.

It is fermented on the surface, bottled with lees and matured for three months. It has aromas of dried fruits, plums and raisins, coffee, cherries, bread and caramel. The taste is true to the smell and contains the sweetness of candied sugar balanced with spices, coriander, lots of malt, fruit and the warming strength of 10.0% alcohol.

St. Bernardus Tripel is a tripel abbey-style beer that is poured in a golden color with a slight white foam and distinct carbonization.

It is surface fermented and bottled with lees, it has aromas of citrus, clove, yeast and bread, candied sugar, banana and peach. The taste is consistent with the smell and opens sweetly with notes of mango, orange and lemon zest, followed by fruity and balancing spice notes and hop bitterness.

The texture is light to medium, with the presence of 8.0% alcohol, but not overpowering; The finish is long, slightly bitter, warming and dry

St. Bernardus Wit is a traditional Belgian white beer bottled with lees, developed and brewed in collaboration with the legendary brewer Pierre Celi.

It has a very light, cloudy straw-yellow color, with a dense white foam. The aroma is wheaty, with an acidity reminiscent of apples; Herbal and spicy notes of coriander, white pepper and orange peel are complemented by a light, honey-like sweetness.

Stunning, sour and refreshing; light and easy to drink – exactly what a Belgian Witbier should characterize! The alcohol content is 5.5%

PRODUCENT -  St. Bernardus

The brewing process of St.Bernardus beers begins with the addition of water to the brewing kettle and then some malt: barley, which has sprouted before being ground in the mill. We only use two types of malt. Pale malt is an ingredient in all our beers, but if we brew brown beers, dark roasted malt is also added to the brewhouse. This infusion is heated gradually over an hour and a half until it reaches a temperature of 78°. This process is also known as "scuffing". At this stage of the process, the malt is converted into fermentable sugars. Good to know: for our Witbier (white beer) we use light malt and wheat.
